The model was basecoated as follows
Red - dragon red
Dark red - chaotic red
Blue - deep blue
Grey - uniform grey
The model was then sprayed with white.
Using the white as a guide, a mix of chaotic red and dragon red was applied as an initial shade, and a mix of pure red and dragon red was applied as a highlight.
The shading was increased using a mix of chaotic red and red wash.
A small amount of black was added to the previous mix to add more shading.
A mix of black and red wash was used to outline the red armour.
A mix of pure red and white was used to edge highlight.
White was used to selectively highlight the upper edges and corners of the red armour.
The blue was highlighted with crystal blue and shaded with a mix of deep blue and blue wash.
A mix of black and deep blue was used for further shading.
A mix of mostly black with some deep blue was used to outline the blue armour.
A mix of crystal blue and white was used as an edge highlight
White was used to highlight the upper edges and corners of the armour.
Uniform grey and ash grey were used as a shade and highlight for the grey armour.
A mix of uniform grey and black was used to add further shading.
The plates were outlined with black.
The grey armour was edged highlighted with a mix ash grey and white.
White was used as a final highlight.
The dark red was given a heavy wash made from red wash and chaotic red.
Then highlighted with dragon red.
The eyes and hands were painted with hawk turquoise and highlighted with white.
