Daemonic yellow
Desert yellow
Fur brown
Oak brown

Flesh wash
Blue wash



The model was basecoated as follows

Skin - tanned flesh
Suit - mix of fur brown and daemonic yellow
Cloak - deep blue
Skeleton - skeleton bone


The model was then sprayed with white at an angle from overhead.


The yellow was shaded with flesh wash.


The highlighted areas were painted with a couple of thin layers of daemonic yellow.


The shading was increased with a mix of flesh wash and oak brown.


The highlighting was done with a mix of daemonic yellow and white.


A mix of blue wash and oak brown was applied to the deepest creases of the suit.

The final highlight was done with white.


The blue was shaded with a mix of deep blue and black.


The highlight areas were painted with a mix of crystal blue and deep blue.


Then highlighted with crystal blue.


A mix of white and crystal blue was used as the final highlight.


The hair was washed with flesh wash.


The strands were picked out with daemonic yellow.


Highlights were added to the hair with a mix of daemonic yellow and white.

The final highlight was done with white.


The basecolour for the skin was done with a mix of barbarian flesh, white and a small amount of crystal blue.

Small amounts of flesh wash to the cheeks, forehead and around the nose and eyes.


A mix of flesh wash and blue wash was used to increase the shading and outline the face.

The face was highlighted with white.

Final details

The 'S' was first painted with skeleton bone, then washed with flesh was and then highlighted with daemonic  yellow.

The skull was shaded with a mix of black and oak brown.

The blood was basecoated with dragon red then highlighted with pure red.
